FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in Hong Kong he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who are trapped inside the building…above the fire line.
Skyscraper: it’s adrenaline fuelled, action packed and has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end.
It’s Die Hard meets Tower Inferno!
After seeing the trailer multiple amount of times and getting super excited to see it, I found I wasn’t let down, it was brilliant – ok the acting from some actors/actress was a bit poor but I found the film to be overall very fulfilling.
It was magnificently put together, with stunning visuals and packed with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson! What more can you ask for!!!
Dwayne aka The Rock was brilliant – he always gives a 110% in what ever role he plays and it certainly shows/ pays off in this film.
The interactions he has with his co-workers was great and especially with his on-screen children. The relationship and emotion he has with his family was perfect; at one point he had me convinced they were his own!
It was good to see Neve Campbell and Chin Han appear in this years Blockbuster they both played their parts well, a tad cheesy in certain scenes, but nevertheless still played their parts admirably.
Visually the film was spectacular and had moments that made me close my eyes (due to my fear of heights!) there were no grainy green-screen moments and the sound effects and quality was superb!
Now I know some of you may think this action packed film is not as great as I have made it out to sound but think of it like this:
- It’s fun!
- It has you on the edge of your seat
- and by the end of the film you’ll come out with a smile on your face!
So what more can you ask for?!
